Here’s how families book you on Byrth, what happens next, and how (and when) you get paid. Everything is designed to be simple, secure, and transparent so you can focus on care, not admin.

1. How people find you

We designed a beautiful search experience (mobile first) and service page that matches the needs of parents. Users can easily find you by searching based on location, pregnancy stage, availability, and personal pregnancy needs.

2. Set up your availability

Once your account is created, you can set up your listings. Each listing includes a calendar where you can manage your availability. You can always update this later by navigating to your listings and adjusting availability by clicking “Manage availability”.

Make sure your hours are up to date so clients can find you at the right time.

3. Add payout details (Partner Stripe)

When the platform launches, you’ll be able to add your payout details. Payouts are managed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment partner. We never store your bank information. You’ll be redirected to Stripe to provide your details (e.g., IBAN) so payments can be transferred directly to your account.

⚠️ Reminder: payout setup will only be available closer to the official launch.

4. Clients find & book your services

Once your availability is live, clients can view your listings and book directly. When a booking request comes in, you will both receive an email notification and a message in your Byrth.io inbox.

We will have support for IDEAL for faster payments and a great user experience.

Users see your listing, pick the date, add the payment method and book the consultation with you.

5. Accepting requests

You need to accept each booking request before it’s confirmed. Once accepted, both you and the client will receive a confirmation by email. A chat feature will also open, allowing you and the client to communicate and share important details before the service.

We can allow Auto Accept later on, so you don’t need to accept each booking. Every time that someone books with you, they immediately get confirmation. This will happen once we see that the schedules are always updated.

All communications and service statuses are always updated via email and on the platform.

6. Payment flow

When a client books, their payment is securely held on the Stripe platform until the service is completed. Once the service ends:

  • Stripe transfers the payment directly to your bank account
  • Byrth.io commission is automatically deducted
  • You’ll see a full cost breakdown in the order details
  • Your service history with all the service statuses and total earnings are available at any time

7. Reviews & credibility

After the service, clients and providers can leave reviews. Reviews are key to building trust and credibility on the platform, helping you to attract more bookings.
